“Action best served with Drama”

Tony Scott….one of the most influential Directors of his time changed the way we saw Action movies. His movies were never genre-specific but there was always an element of “Heroism”. His movies were always about ordinary everyday characters caught up in extraordinary situations. If Top Gun (1986) was material in making Tom Cruise a big star overnight, his association with Denzel Washington in Crimson Tide (1995), Man on Fire (2004), Deja Vu (2006), Taking of Pelham 123 & Unstoppable (2010) made Denzel a favourite in the action drama genre.

Here’s remembering the Director known for his “trademark frenetic camera style” on his 73rd Birth anniversary!
