Thompson directs Peck

Director J. Lee Thompson always reserved his best for Gregory Peck and the result was a World War II thriller made on an epic scale The Guns of Navarone (1961), a modern day film noir Cape Fear (1962) and a Western comprising an all starcast Mackenna’s Gold (1969).
